Making Something Beautiful

The last few weeks have been extremely challenging, since I have quit smoking I have been going for a lot of really long walks and trying to keep myself as busy as possible. I am EXTREMELY grateful for my Family’s support and the help of my new “addiction” Pokemon Go. The poor dog and I have walked so many miles in the last month I could barely count. We have met a lot of people and amassed a lot of Pokemon from our neighborhood. As I have been dealing with all the change in my life, my depression and anxiety tried desperately to creep in and take over. I have up until this moment managed to stay in control and focus on the positives of my life. I have started and nearly finished two gardens in the last month and rejoice that it is almost time to begin working on my own garden.

While it is easy for me to spiral into depression and focus on all the things going wrong in my life I have chosen to focus on the things that make me the happiest.

Spring is FINALLY here! It is time for my two favorite pastimes.

Football!

and Gardening!

I’ve witnessed your double passions of football and gardening and each in its own way is fun and productive. In football we come together for family fun of food and games. Your gardening provides food, beauty and relaxation. But, you forgot to mention your passion for family- for your intense desire and commitment to their health and well-being. You’re an amazing man! Proud to know you!
